XC World Cup finals in Hafjell, Norway

At the crosscountry worldcup finals in Hafjell, Norway the athletes of the BH-SR Suntour-KMC team faced different fortunes. Julie Bresset showed that she found her form late in the season. Riding in the world champion jersey, the French rider was clearly the strongest woman on course. But an untimely flat costed her more than a minute, and her impressive chase only could bring her back to a third place. The strongest men of the team were paying tribute to the long, hard season: Maxime Marotte finished in 20th at the finals and in 9th in the worldcup's overall standings, Stéphane Tempier crossed the finish line in Norway in 33rd to finish in 12th overall despite abandoning the race in Nove Mesto and not starting in Val di Sole. In the under23 race, Pablo Rodriguez Guede stepped out of the race after three laps. In the men's team ranking, BH-SR Suntour-KMC finishes the season in 6th behind some of the biggest teams of the sport.
