In spite of Roger's injury before the final 4X world Cup round
he held onto 4th place in the overall ranking 2009. Thanks to his 2nd place
at the European championship, his two 3rd places and three 4th places at
the World Cup he made 4th place his by the very narrow margin of 19
points (of 1067 pts) ahead of his rival Michal Prokop.
